It was such a blessing to visit Siquijor and to stay in one of the famous and expensive resorts in the island, The Coco Grove. There’s so much to love in the place. From their amazing beach to the friendly staff and very good resort facilities and amenities, I can stay here for days and just do nothing.
The waves this time were a bit strong due to hanging habagat so swimming was not enticing. But good thing the resort has 2 large swimming pools (I heard it’s 3 now). Coco Grove is really beautiful. Their spacious property is surrounded by trees, beautiful architecture, huts and recliners. Really wanna go back and promise to take a more meaningful detailed pictures Haha!

Of course there’s so much about Siquijor than Coco Grove and its beaches. Let me give you some How-TOs:
TRANSPORTATIONS:
From Cebu City:
- Take a bus from South Terminal to Liloan Santander
- Take a Ferry to Sibulan Dumaguete
- From Sibulan, flag a tricycle to take you to Dumaguete Sea Port
- You may opt to ride the fast craft or RORO ferry to either town of Siquijor or Larena
PLACES TO VISIT:
- Capilay Spring Park
- Old Balete Tree
- St. Isidore The Farmer Church
- Cambugahay Falls
- Lazi Church
- Salagdoong Beach
- Butterfly Sanctuary
- Cantabon Cave
- Bandilaan National Park
You may have this tour arranged by your resort or contact tricycle drivers. One that I can recommend is Manong Joam. His number is 09276932095.
This island has been associated with black magics, witchcrafts and sorceries, but the traveller genes on me are stronger enough than those stories. It’s now a popular destination so I must go. So I can relate. So to experience. =)
